The Chameleon Strategy was devised to help people to detect and to know how to respond to strokes. It’s a pioneering initiative in the Central American region by Dr. Miguel A. Barboza Elizondo (Costa Rica), and it’s supported by the World Stroke Association, among others, its purpose being to spread a friendly, positive message about the risks and causes of strokes and the protocol for actions that should be taken.
